The first time I saw all those die cuts and stickers, I knew I was hooked. Having been a "Rubber Stamper" for many years, discovery scrapbooking was the next level in my crafting euphoria. There's so much I love about scrapbooking - I love cutting the paper, arranging the pictures, picking out all the embellishments. It's so therapeutic. It takes me back to my kindergarten days when I would cut and paste.

What I love most about scrapbooking is that I get to play with all these wonderful supplies! From pretty paper, to fabulous fibers.

I eventually grew out of my scrapbooking space, so I decided to convert a small 1-bedroom apt (and I do mean small - approx 300 sqft) into my craft studio - affectionately called "The Shabby Shack." Working in my studio is like a little slice of Heaven. Set in the small town of Morgan Hill, it faces green pastures, and a beautiful backdrop of hills. Decorated in Shabby Chic Style, birds are a running theme in both my home and the Shabby Shack.
